Scope of Practice
The services provided by Samue Bell are offered in the capacity of a coach and trainee coaching psychologist.
My work draws on psychological theory and evidence-based coaching approaches, and is delivered in line with the British Psychological Society (BPS) Code of Ethics and Conduct.
Not Therapy or Medical Treatment
Coaching and coaching psychology are not therapy, counselling, psychotherapy, or a medical service.
- Coaching is not a treatment for mental illness
- I do not diagnose mental health conditions
- Coaching is not a substitute for care from a GP, psychiatrist, psychologist, or other regulated healthcare professional.
If you are experiencing mental health difficulties that require clinical or medical support, I encourage you to seek help from an appropriately qualified professional.
Where it becomes clear that coaching is no longer appropriate or sufficient, this will be discussed openly and ethically.
